The Letters of Noël Coward

UK paperback of 'The Letters of Noël Coward' is due out in mid-September.

The Letters of Noël Coward

Barry Day is the editor of this new book of letters, and, as advisor to the Coward Estate, is the only one to have been given complete access to the correspondence of the Master. With letters to and from Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, Daphne du Maurier, Ian Fleming, Edith Sitwell and David Niven, and many more, the picture that emerges is a series of vivid sketches of Noël Coward's private relationships, and a reexamination of the man himself.

‘A uniquely charming and enticing journey through a remarkable life.
Coward's own record is made all the more delightful by the wise and helpful interpolations of Barry Day, the soundest authority on the Master that there is.’
Stephen Fry
